Christmas Mingle & Jingle!

Hello Ladies,

Come on out to SCWC's December General Meeting on WED DEC 19 AT 7 PM at Holy Family Hall. We have a packed agenda, so take a deep breath and read on:

1. Wear your prettiest Christmas top OR ugliest Christmas sweater OR put together a creative Christmas outfit. We'll all vote on the most unique creation!

2. Bring 3 doz cookies to share. If everyone participates in the Cookie Exchange, you'll all take home 3 doz cookies from a wide range of yummy recipes!

3. Bring Christmas cards to write/sign for our deserving military service members and veterans. Let's show appreciation for those who protect us!

4. At this season, please remember those less fortunate & bring any (or all) of the following items - whatever your kind generosity can provide:

a. Gift cards to put on a wreath for several needy St Coleman families. These can include gift cards for Publix, Target/Walmart, Walgreens/CVS, movies, restaurants, gas stations - anything you can share.

b. Small toiletries (travel size version of soap, toothpaste, shampoo, etc) to be given to the homeless in our community. Also for the homeless: flip flops from the dollar store.

Animal lovers - don't throw away your used towels, bring those used towels to be given to animal shelters!

The Angel Tree for Christmas gifts for needy children is a wonderful SCWC tradition. There's still time to bring an unwrapped gift to mass this weekend (Dec 15 & 16) for a boy or girl age 2 - 15 years (even if you didn't get an angel off the tree at previous masses). Thanks to Betty O'Connell and all the volunteers for this worthwhile cause!

Sweets with Santa was a great success again. The kids (and adults) enjoyed meeting with Santa, eating bagels & donuts, listening to the choir and hearing Fr Michael read a great story. Remember to see your pics online via the home page of our website, or on our SCWC Facebook page. Many thanks to Sandy Barry and all her elves for a wonderful time!

Progressive Dinner Raffle. Remember to buy your tickets (only $1!) at mass Dec 15 & 16, at our Dec 19 meeting, at mass Jan 12 & 13, or at the Rectory. If you win, you and four of your family/friends (5 people total), will get transportation to Mojo Restaurant for appetizers, Sea Watch On the Ocean for salads, Caffe Roma Italian Restaurant for entrees, Checkers for dessert. What a great deal! (Note: If you're selling tickets, pls turn in money/stubs no later than the January 16 General Meeting.)

January General Meeting plus January Social. Rumors are circulating these may include ways to pamper and look after yourself with spa treatments and makeovers. Stay tuned for details!

(OK, you can breathe again!)
