UPDATED 12/4: Letter from our President about What to Bring to Meeting on 12/14 and Upcoming Events

12/4 Update:

IMPORTANT CORRECTION NOTE FROM THE WEBMASTER RE: ANGEL TREE GIFTS:

Please DO NOT bring Angel Tree gifts to the SCWC General meeting as was previously mentioned in this post.

In the next week or so, the Church will have two Angel Trees for our Parishioners to share God's blessings with needy families in our community. When you come to church on the weekend, we encourage you to please take an angel tag from a tree in the back of the church.... purchase a gift appropriate for that age or gender, then return the UNWRAPPED gift to the CHURCH the following weekend. All gifts need to be returned by December 21st.

I truly apologize for any confusion this may have caused and pray you can forgive this error. Mea Culpa..... xoxo Cris, SCWC Webmaster

We 'll write Christmas cards to the soldiers, learn to make the Rosary and have the Cookie Exchange (click HERE for cookie exchange instructions). This is the meeting that you bring gift cards for the 3 needy families in our parish. Some suggestions are grocery, restaurants, drug store, movies, hair or nails, Walmart, Marshalls and Target. Your generosity is so appreciated by all. Look forward to spending "chit chat" unwind time with all of you!

December

In addition to the opportunity of supporting three needy St. Coleman families through SCWC, the Church will have two Angel Trees for our Parishioners to share God's blessings with needy families in the community. When you come to church on the weekend, we encourage you to please take an angel tag from a tree in the back of the church.... purchase a gift appropriate for that age or gender, then return the UNWRAPPED gift to the CHURCH the following weekend. All gifts need to be returned by December 21st.

Thank you for all that you do whether it be physically active or supporting our SCWC. May this Christmas Season bring you a renewed sense of worth, stronger ties with family and friends and a personal closeness to God. May He bless each and everyone of us.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Betty O Connell

President, SCWC
