Book Club Pick: "Giddy Up Eunice" by Sophie Hudson

The Book Club pick for this year is Giddy up Eunice by Sophie Hudson... It is a light read showing how much we are alike as women than we are different through the generations. It is realistic, you can relate to the analogies and laugh at the comparisons. She compares the Bible ladies to the generation before us, our generation and the generation after us. Book Synopsis: It’s easy for women to focus on what seems to separate us: differences in age, parenting styles, career goals, or maybe even core beliefs about whether leggings can adequately serve as pants (the struggle is real, y’all). Hurricane Matthew Support for St. Augustine/Jacksonville

WE are reaching out to St Augustine and Jacksonville Women's Councils to see how we can help them. We ask that SCWC does not donate to Haiti at this time... they are neither ready for clothes or structured to accept financial aide. We really believe we should help our own. The people of St. Augustine and Jacksonville have worked hard for what they lost and we can know that whatever we do will go directly to them. More information and details will be forthcoming as we connect with the Councils and coordinate efforts for assistance.
